TVXQ’s first kiss!….

TVXQ's members, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin announced, they've already had a first kiss after debut!

Shim Changmin said, he had a first kiss with his girlfriend after his debut. He went out with friends on that day. While his girlfriend was washing dishes, he was paring the fruits. And after she finished doing dished, they kissed.

Kim Junsu also said, he had his first kiss when he was 20. Because of his fame, he could meet his girlfriend just 3 days from 100 days. She came to his house with a cake. Then, they went out together, and kissed at the parking lot stairs. He cried after that because he couldn't do anything for her.

Next is Park Yoochun, he said, that day he went out with friends. And when all left him with a girl which wasn't his girlfriend yet, he said to her "if our lips touch, I'll know you're my girl". Then, they kissed.

They're working with many beautiful celebrities. So they want the ordinary girls to be their girlfriends.

MKMF's nomination list revealed, DBSK received most nominations

The annual Korean music event "2008 Mnet KM Music Festival" (MKMF) will be held on 15th November. Before the actual awards, MKMF released the nomination list on the Mnet website.
This year's awards are divided into 30 different categories. 7 singer style categories, 5 music style categories, 2 MV categories, etc. The website has opened its polls and besides singers "campaigning," various fan clubs have also claimed "war" by voting numerous times for their idols.
DBSK has gained numerous nominations including "Best Male Group," "Best Choreography," "2008 Best Singer," and many others. Amongst the many different categories, the "Best Male Group" category has the most competition, with talented Hip-Hop group Big Bang competing with DBSK, who had a grand comeback into Korea's music scene after being away for 1 year and 7 months.
Of course, the votes are only a part of the final judgement. Professionals will also be judging the nominees.
Besides that, SHINee and 2PM will be competing fiercely for "Best Newcomer" and Kim Dong Yoo and Soo Tae Ji will be competing for "Best Male Singer."

Tvxq and suju audition for sbs’s new drama”learning god”?

“Learning God,” a new drama on SBS, has raised much curiosity about who will be cast.FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki is thought to be the most likely main character, but seeing as the main character has not been revealed even now, there are rumours of TVXQ, SJ, FT Island, SS501, and such singers auditioning. “Learning God’s” producer said in a phone interview the other day, “We’re in the process of auditioning people, and we plan to cast idol group members in their late teens or early twenties. We will decide on the main character after auditioning them.” Said PD also mentioned, “Although idol group members can become the lead character and raise much gossip, what’s more important is their acting abilities. It is going to be dbsk vs bigbang for 2008 MKMF.

The final list for 2008 MKMF nominee-and-song list has been released, and has also attracted heated response from music fans.
‘2008 Mnet KM Music Festival (MKMF)’ will he head on 15th November. The list also be announced on 17th November on cable channel Mnet ‘Wide Ent News’.
This year, there will be 7 sections for the singers awards, 5 sections for genre awards, 13 sections for music video awards and other awards, with 3 DaeSang award in the total of 30 awards all together. To order to produce the fairest judging for the awards, much effort has been put into the judging system.
Especially exciting will be the showdown of the different boybands. There is Dong Bang Shin Ki, who never fail not to clinch any of such awards, and also Big Bang who has been rising strong in the Kpop market in the 1 year and 7 months when Dong Bang Shin Ki has been inactive in Korea and promoting overseas.
Will Dong Bang Shin Ki take Big Bang down by showing them their glory of the past, or will Big Bang show that they will continue to defend for their place in the Kpop market as the best idol group, is a hot topic amongst music fans.
Other than this, we are in for more showdowns between different artistes like SHINee and 2PM for Newcomer award, and Kim Dong Ryul and Seo Taiji for Male Singer Award.

TVXQ #1 Spot in the Oricon Weekly chart.

As a foreign artist, TVXQ is the first one to take the #1 spot in the Oricon Weekly charts three times. On the 16th, their newly released Japanese single “Mirotic” held a commemorate press conference in Tokyo. Based on the song name, the members decided to confess to fans with words such as, “i don’t want anyone but you,” and “come with me quietly,” wooing the fans present.
They called fans onto the stage to say these words to them, and Jaejoong was so shy he turned red. He also said that even in private, “We don’t say these things because we’re shy. TVXQ's fourth album "Mirotic" has sold over 200K copies after only two weeks of release, and on the 13th their total sales amounted to 208345 copies. Ir was announced a couple days about that this year's annual Kōhaku Uta Gassen will have an appearance by popular group Tohoshinki.
Kōhaku Uta Gassen (紅白歌合戦) more commonly known as simply Kōhaku, is an annual music show on the New Year's Eve produced by Japanese public broadcaster NHK and broadcast on both television and radio, nationally and internationally by NHK's networks and some overseas (mainly cable) broadcasters which bought the program. The show ends shortly before midnight (when NHK switches to a frenzy of "Happy New Year" greetings from around the nation). Literally "Red and White Song Battle," the program divides the most popular music artists of the year into competing teams of red and white. The "red" team or akagumi (赤組紅組)is composed of all female artists (or groups with female vocals), while the "white" team or shirogumi (白組)is all male (or groups with male vocals).
The honor of performing on Kōhaku is strictly by invitation, so only the most successful J-Pop artists and enka singers can perform. In addition to the actual music performances, the costumes, hair-styles, makeup, dancing, and lighting are also important. Even today, a performance on Kōhaku is said to be a big highlight in a singer's career because of the show's large reach.

World domination: Mexican magazine features DBSK(after previous coverage from Peru, Chile & Spain).

Yet ANOTHER special feature article on the great phenomenon & sensation called DBSK / Tohoshinki / TVXQ, by another completely far off and non-Asian country that one would never have thought would consider covering Kpop/Jpop.
A weekly Mexican entertainment magazine recently had a large page dedicated to the group, mentioning their immense popularity around the world in countries like Korea, Japan and Taiwan. They even went as far as to suggest that DBSK is ready to conquer Mexico!
Might we suggest that DBSK totally take up some Spanish classes and consider a debut in the Latin/South American countries, more so than the US itself seeing how much greater media interest is being shown there. These media outlets are literally calling out to them to come over. Of course, this is all thanks to the hundreds of fans who made their fandom known.

They sing in their mother tongue, just one or two (N: “una u otra” in this is like some few songs) or some chorus in English or Japanese, but even with that they are a sensation. DBSK takes a psychology test?,(On PKL’s starry night).

Popular group Dong bang Shin Ki, who have made their comeback after 1 year and 7 months gathered much new interest after taking a blood type based dating psychology test.
As part of the popular “Psychology break” corner of SBS Power FM’s Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time (something like Toho-psychology in Bigeaststation I presume), the Dong Bang boys took some time to take a psychology test.
In the test, the five boys had to look at some couples, before being asked which couple they liked the most. Micky Yoochun and Young Woong JaeJoong, both of type O blood chose “The couple who could communicate well with each other”. Xiah Junsu and Choikang Changmin, both of type B blood chose “The older woman, younger boy couple.” And lastly, U-Know Yunho of blood type A chose “The couple who got closer through fighting (as in arguing, etc – like a typical drama couple where it starts off with the girl hating the guy and vice versa, but in the end they both fall in love)”. The fact that those of the same blood type chose the same type of couple surprised and amused the Dong Bang boys, and in turn, their fans.
Micky Yoochun and Young Woong JaeJoong, both of O type blood explained that because they were introverts, they found it hard to approach the person they liked. However, once they like a person, they would love that person, and keep that love until the end. Choikang Changmin and Xiah Junsu revealed that if they love someone, they will love them without limits quickly, however, their love would have its romantic moments and non-romantic moments – in other words, ups and downs (translated literally, it would be something like their love would be ‘hot’ but it would cool down). From this, the members worried in a somewhat joking manner; “What if we someday disrupt Dong Bang Shin Ki’s schedule due to love?”
Lastly, U-Know Yunho revealed that once he fell in love with someone, he would push for a response from the person due to his tough personality. Due to this, many people had the response that Yunho would be the most likely to date his ideal girl.
Following the psychology corner, Dong Bang Shin Ki showed a less polished/practiced image which they didn’t show in other shows, to the delighted response of the audience. Choikang Changmin said, “I usually put the piece of pizza I’m eating on my hand and wait until everyone else has finished eating their pizza – and if they’ve left any, I eat that as well.” revealing an unexpected side of him. Young Woong JaeJoong, who the other Dong Bang Shin Ki members chose as the most fun to be around, once again showed his self-created unique vibration techniques (meaning vocal vibrations), as well as impersonations, transforming the audience into a sea of laughter.
At one point during the broadcast, “Dong Bang Shin Ki – Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” achieved a ranking of 1st and 2nd on search engines, making us feel the power of Dong Bang Shin Ki’s popularity.

Jaejoong accept the drama role in “Postman of heaven”

Jaejung hero acting challenge, “given a shot/chance to working at acting”
Networks, a joint venture in Japan, will be making a Tele Cinema and first episode is Postman of Heaven. It is a joint drama project of Japan and South Korea. Jaejoong had been interviewed on the 24th (of September? It says something about SM EverySing karaoke). Jaejoong is surprised to being casted for the role. He has read the script and took the role, and said he will work hard for it.
“Postman of Heaven” is going to be produced by ‘I’m Sorry I Love You’ Lee Hyungmin PD and Writer Kitagawa Eriko who wrote “One Million Stars Falling from the Sky” staring Takuya Kimura. The drama is about a messenger who connects the Afterlife with the present world. He will be a mailman who is in charge of sending the death of a friend or family member (of a person) up to heaven. There will be a DVD of this mini-series.
Yunho mentions that Jaejoong was the first out of them to make a solo shot at career, and that in the larger framework they are still DBSK as a whole even when they are doing solo.
The drama is scheduled to be filmed as early as the 10th (October?).
This isn't one of those full dramas with 16 episodes or longer. Korean Producers and Japanese Writers are getting together and producing something called "Telecinema." There will be 7 episodes each with a different story and Jaejoong will be coming out in the 1st episode. A TV version and movie version will be released, which will be 60 minutes and 120 minutes long respectively. There is no info on when this will air. - s@nbi@soompi

TVXQ,#1 sales charts after only 2 days.

TVXQ has had a popularity explosion offline in stores.
Their 4th album “Mirotic” was released on September 26, 2008 and from that day of launching it in music stores, it had already risen on Hanteo charts.
In addition to the weekly charts (September 21-27), it has also powerfully risen to #1 on the monthly charts (August 31-September 27). According to Hanteo charts as of September 28, the A version of “Mirotic” had sold 54,000 copies. Also on Hot Tracks, Yes24, and other music sale charts they are also #1.
