Dong Bang Shin Ki was in Seoul Paris Hotel on 21st September in for their 4th album press conference.

Leader U-Know YunHo said, “We are very nervous with coming up with this new album. Because the fans have waited so long for it, and we have waited very long for it too. We wanted to show a better Dong Bang Shin Ki to the fans.”

Member Xiah JunSu also added, “I couldn’t sleep last night. Even though it was just a few hours, it seemed like a long time. There are so much feelings about our long waited comeback.”

A question was also posed across to them during the press conference, “In this 1 year and 7 months, there are many ‘rival’ groups that emerged in the Korean music scene. How are your feelings about returning to the Kmusic scene again?

“Dong Bang Shin Ki answered, “Even though during this 1 year and 7 months we were not active in Korea, we were active in Japan. We are now back to show everyone the hardwork we have put in even though we have been away for quite some time.”

And then it was added, “Recently Big Bang and SHINee have been doing very well. These groups have been those groups which have injected so much energy to the Korean music scene. And we are very excited and glad about that.”

“Dong Bang Shin Ki can now also showcase our own colours and style. We look forward to that.”

It was also revealed that Dong Bang Shin Ki’s 4th album title ‘MIROTIC’ was the idea of member Hero JaeJoong. “We wanted to use the word ‘Miro (Lost)’ and the idea of using the term ‘tic’ was added and we coined a new word for our own”

On the other hand, Dong Bang Shin Ki will be having their 4th album showcase today in Seoul ShiCheong concourse at 7pm Korean time.

Dong Bang Shin Ki will perform the title song ‘MIROTIC” and 4 other songs collected in their upcoming 4th album, performing in front of their fans after 1 year and 7 months.

TVXQ's 4th studio album 'Mirotic' simply irresistible.

Popular male vocal group TVXQ will release its 4th studio album on September 24, featuring the title song "Mirotic," composed by Remee & Troelsen, who also wrote BoA's U.S. debut single "Eat You Up.
"SM Entertainment said when it first heard the song earlier this year in January, it knew it would be the perfect song to revamp the image of the group. The agency said the group finished recording the song in June. It also said the song features a dreamy, sophisticated and strong melody. "Mirotic" is also the title song of TVXQ's fourth studio album.
Kenny Wormald, who has worked with Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera, was put in charge of choreography of the title track. "Mirotic" will be unveiled online on September 19 through major music portals including Melon, Dosirak and Soribada.

DBSK, Rain selected as lotte duty free models.

Dong Bang Shin Gi are the new faces of Lotte’s Duty Free Shop.

On the 17th, Lotte’s representative stated, “Undoubtedly, Dong Bang Shin Gi is Korea and Japan’s as well as Asia’s most popular stars. A modeling contract was signed with them for Lotte’s shopping tourist attractions, and hopefully we can depend on them to gather more attention.”

Before Dong Bang Shin Gi joined up, Rain was Lotte Duty Free’s main model.

The advertisement in which Dong Bang Shin Gi appears was photographed in early September at Kangnam Studios in Seoul where they were photographed by Kwon Young Ho.

Meanwhile, Dong Bang Shin Gi’s 4th album title track, 주문(MIROTIC) will be released online on the 19th and the full album is due out on the 24th.

Tune Dune: DBSK Vs Disney's Aladdin

The 5 Shin Kis have accomplished much in a whole year’s absence from Korea, they’ve conquered the Japanese ajummas, Oricon charts and also the little ones.

Dong Bang Shin Ki performed Brad Kane and Lea Salonga’s “A Whole New World” at Tokyo Disneysea as part of their promotional activities for the “Club Disney 2007″ album. And needless to say, Brad and Lea’s one was from the Disney classic, Aladdin.

The last two J-pop singles of Korean boy band Dong Bang Shin Ki, Beautiful You and Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimattan darou?, both turned into Oricon No. 1 hits. The fans are now waiting in anticipation for the release of the band's fourth full-length Korean album. Their latest single is the Japanese version of their upcoming Korean album's principal song.

First Press Limited Edition comes with a cover sleeve-sized collector's card (one out of six randomly selected versions) and a music video DVD.

DBSK's 4th album pre-orders break record.

Two years after their “O-Union” album, TVXQ is now finally set to release their 4th Korean album!

Amazingly, on the first day, according to SM Entertainment, the number of people that pre-ordered the album broke records. Reportedly the pre-orders were already a whopping 200,000 just on the first day. When TVXQ released their first album (Tri-Angle), it was only 10,000. During their second album (Rising Sun), they got 130,000 pre-orders. On their 3rd album “O-Union” pre-orders on the first 2 days reached 100,000.

TVXQ has been a very busy group. They have been concentrating in Japan for almost a year or two and their popularity has truly skyrocketed across Asia, making international music audiences curious. Now that their 4th album is set for release, not only their Korean fans, but also International fans, are buying the album.

Fans across Korea have been waiting for TVXQ to make a comeback in their homeland. These Korean fans have been anticipating an album release since last year. That much wait must have been frustrating. But fans still show their support and love despite it all. In fact their support seem to have gotten even bigger.

It is expected that TVXQ will take home some prestigious awards by the end of 2008. According to our source, last year’s Golden Disk Awards top record was 150,000 record sales. But now that TVXQ has already received a big 200,000 pre-orders on the first day, what more when the album is officially released? It is predicted that their record sales might even reach to 500,000 or more!

The 4th album release is set for September 2008. TVXQ is now currently busy recording songs for the new album. Fans have been spotting them in and out of SM Entertainment’s office for the past weeks. Reportedly, TVXQ will be releasing a Korean version of their Japanese song Kiss mini coopera Mama Sayonara (As We Kissed Goodbye), which was written and composed by TVXQ members, Micky Yoochun and Hero Jaejoong collaborated on this song.

Indeed, TVXQ is becoming better and better as they grow with their music. They have proved that they deserve more than be called “idols” in Korea. And we already know that they have become more than that.

TVXQ ! to hold Showcase at Seoul Plaza on 21st.

The popular group TVXQ! will be holding a showcase event for the release of their fourth studio album at Seoul Plaza on Sept. 21st.

Located in front of City Hall, Seoul Plaza usually holds events which are of national significance, and solo performances there are very rare.

TVXQ! will be performing the title track to their fourth album, which will be released three days later on the 24th, and their showcase will be filmed for the SBS "TVXQ! Comeback Special" set to air in early October.

"The area around Seoul City Hall will be filled with fans holding pearl-red balloons, the color of TVXQ!," said a representative from the SM Entertainment agency. "This will be TVXQ!'s first public performance for album four and their first appearance on-air will be for an SBS music program broadcast on September 28th.

Big Bang’s Taeyang, who has released his own solo single “Hot,” has expressed respect for TVXQ.
